Dear Friends:

Sometimes life’s circumstqances force us to slow down and do things a little differently. I have suffered a leg injury that has unfortunately led me to cancel my February Concerts.

With a little time, I look forward to a full recovery that will have me back stronger than before. My apologies for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause any of you, but I want to be able to give you my all at each performance. That is the least that you deserve!

Thanks for your continued support and understanding and I wish you and yours happiness, good health and the joy of challenges met!!

January 20th, 9pm, SUPPORT HAITI CONCERT at The City Winery. Stokes will be joining Lewis Black, Vernon Reid & Corey Glover from Living Colour, Marshall Crenshaw, Rich Pagano & The Sugarcane Cups, each artist performing about 15 minutes each. 100% of the ticket proceeds have been promised to three organizations, each of which will get an equal amount: PARTNERS IN HEALTH, DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS, THE JEWISH RENAISSANCE MEDICAL CENTER

Stokes is grateful to his “guys” - Tedd Firth on Piano, Gary Haase on Bass and Buddy Williams on Drums -  who are donating their time and talents to the event as well!!
